Duvita is a brand with commitment to sustainability and mission to empower artisans and skilled workers.

Recognizing the environmental impact of fashion industry, Duvita aims to minimize its carbon footprint. Our sneakers are made of Fairtrade certified organic cotton and natural rubber from sustainable forestry. In addition to that, our products are virtually plastic free and primarily contain renewable raw materials contributing to a more sustainable future. Our manufacturing partner is the only company in the world with three ethical labels on footwear (Fairtrade, FSC, GOTS). Together, we aim to provide high-quality sneakers as we pledge to empower skilled workers and artisans.

Duvita, a Sialkot-based brand, operates from a relatively small industrial city that heavily relies on its labour-intensive manufacturing industry as the driving force behind its economy. However, as of now both Sialkot and the broader manufacturing sector in Pakistan confront significant challenges. Ongoing Economic crises have led to a host of problems, including soaring inflation and an overall downturn in manufacturing. Consequently, one of the hardest hit by these challenges are diligent artisans and skilled workers, who bear the brunt of the adverse circumstances.

We believe that among other stakeholders, it is also responsibility of the consumer class to assist those struggling to make ends meet. Taking inspiration from global tipping culture, Duvita became the first Pakistani e-commerce platform to introduce direct tipping for the makers and manufacturers of its products. Not only do we enable buyers to tip makers, we amplify their support by matching the tips from our revenues, effectively doubling the impact of each contribution. This initiative aims to empower and reduce burden of the cost-of-living crisis faced by artisans and skilled workers due to ongoing inflation and economic difficulties.

Thanks to the unwavering support of our buyers, our artisans have made notable strides, earning up to 20% extra of their basic salaries. This remarkable increase in earnings stem from the combined impact of direct tips from our buyers and the matching funds from our revenues, following our policy of matching buyer tips.
